THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS WITH CONTACT LENSES

Your lifestyle and your specific requirements, such as how frequently you plan to wear your lenses or if you wish to continue wearing them while you sleep, will help determine which type is best for you. After your personal eye examination we will decide on our recommendation. You will be taught how to insert and remove your contact lenses and importantly, how to care for them ongoing.

Daily disposable: Throw them out at night and replace them in the morning.
Sleep-in extended wear: You can wear these all day and sleep in them at night for up to 30 days/nights. Handy for the busy lifestyle.
Daily care reusable: You can wear these between 2 to 4 weeks depending on the type of lens. They require a nightly clean for reuse the next day.
Multi focal: Ideal for the over 40’s who require clear and comfortable vision at all distances – without needing glasses.
Astigmatism specific: Available in daily disposable, sleep-in and reusable.
Rigid lenses: For the more complex prescription or those who soft lenses are not suitable.

Thin & light lenses

Thinner and lighter lenses are used for people who have moderate to high prescriptions, have frames with specific fitting requirements or for those who feel more comfortable with a lighter weight to wear.

Polarised Sun UV protection

Tinted lenses control direct glare from ambient sunlight. Reflected glare is often what deteriorates our vision causing fatigue and discomfort. Polarisation is a treatment that controls glare that's reflected off surfaces.

Sun tints

Making a great prescription sunglass is about getting it to look as close as possible to the non-prescription pair you love - including the tint!

Standard tints are grey, brown or green with a solid or graduating effect
Custom tints adjust the overall hue e.g. blue/grey, olive green/brown

Blue light control filters

Blue light emitted from screens, laptops and mobile devices can cause Age-related Macular Degeneration. Choosing a lens with a blue control coating protects your eyes on a daily basis maintaining your long term eye health.

There are two types of blue control coatings:
